porcupines and Saint Sebastian

i can't say i know for sure what's going on here, i suppose maybe a group of travelling porcupines met a dying martyr and one especially inquisitive porcupine is wondering whether Saint Sebastian may be one of their kind, or maybe Saint Sebastian went for the martyrdom in order to resemble a porcupine and become a part of porcupines' society
i just couldn't help but draw my own vision of Saint Sebastian's death
