a secret oath of friendship

oh, i've noticed i've been submitting terribly little recently because of working on illustrations to one beautiful story that i cannot submit here (at least not yet)
so -just to submit something once in a while- i thought i would share one more of illustrations for the mediaval fairytale story that i was illustrating a while back,

in this particular illustration the story's main heroine (one rather adventurous Irish princess in one of the first ages of christianity in Ireland) and her best friend were taking an oath of eternal friendship in one of some magic underground cave-chapels
